The house of Dior has exclusively premiered three embroidered special editions of the Lady Dior bag set for a mid-summer worldwide release.

This past Saturday, in Shanghai, Dior held I Feel Blue, a one-off event exhibition focused around the ready-to-wear autumn-winter 2017-2018 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior.

In the Dior boutique in Shanghai, in parallel with the event exhibition I Feel Blue, the house of Dior exclusively premiered three embroidered special editions of the Lady Dior bag set for a mid-summer worldwide release.

On these designs Maria Grazia Chiuri developed the same themes and techniques as those in the fashion show. With I feel blue, The moon in my eyes and Astrology, these versions of the House’s iconic bag boast all-over figurative motifs worked in blue threads and gold. The charms have an angular and more modern look. The best embroidery ateliers in Paris exercised their expertise to make the designer’s poetic vision a reality.
