Incheon International Airport<\/b> (IIA) (IATA<\/a>: ICN<\/b>,\u00a0ICAO<\/a>: RKSI<\/b>) (Korean<\/a>: \uc778\ucc9c\uad6d\uc81c\uacf5\ud56d<\/span>, sometimes referred to as Seoul-Incheon International Airport<\/b>) is the largest airport in South Korea<\/a>, the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area<\/a>, and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Airport authorities claim that average departure and arrival takes only 19 minutes (60 minutes world-wide industry average) and 12 minutes (45 minutes) respectively, significantly lower than the rest of the world, making it one of the fastest airports in the world for customs processing.\u00a0Its duty free shopping mall has been rated the world’s best for three years in a row in 2013 by Business Traveller.\u00a0Incheon International Airport also claims that it has only a 0.0001% baggage mishandling rate.<\/p>\n

Located 48\u00a0km (30\u00a0mi) west of Seoul<\/a>, the capital and the largest city of South Korea<\/a>, Incheon International Airport is the main hub for Korean Air<\/a>, Asiana Airlines<\/a>, Jeju Air<\/a>, andPolar Air Cargo<\/a>. The airport serves as a hub for international civilian air transportation and cargo traffic in East Asia. Incheon International Airport is also currently Asia’s eighth busiest airport in terms of passengers, the world’s fourth busiest airport<\/a> by cargo traffic, and the world’s ninth busiest airport<\/a> in terms of international passengers in 2013. In that year, 40,785,953 international passengers used the airport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
