Tiffany & Co. introduces its new fragrance to travellers around the world\u00a0this\u00a0autumn\u00a0– a bold scent created by\u00a0world-renowned master perfumer Daniela Andrier of Givaudan.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The\u00a0sparkling floral musk is a contemporary take on the most precious\u00a0ingredients of traditional haute perfumery. The scent opens\u00a0with vibrant top notes of vert de mandarine. At the heart, a\u00a0precious iris flower is the hero ingredient. Tiffany\u2019s association\u00a0with the iris dates back to the earliest sketches found in the\u00a0Tiffany Archives and is deeply entwined in the DNA of the house.\u00a0It was an iris brooch set with demantoid garnet blossoms and\u00a0Montana sapphires that earned Tiffany the grand prize at the\u00a0Paris Exposition in 1900. Harvested in France during the months\u00a0of July and August, the iris butter is obtained through a unique\u00a0hydrodistillation extraction, exclusive to the Tiffany fragrance,\u00a0ensuring a pure, bright, sensual and long-lasting richness to the\u00a0final note. This signature ingredient adds strength, femininity\u00a0and grounds the composition with refinement and sophistication. Patchouli base notes wrapped in a blend of soothing musks is\u00a0sensual on the skin. The final structure is both unexpected and\u00a0timeless scent in its most elemental form.<\/p>\n

To help capture this story of purity as envisioned by Tiffany\u2019s\u00a0chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff, legendary photographer Steven\u00a0Meisel was tapped, along with four modern women who represent\u00a0the diverse spirit of the brand: models Vittoria Ceretti, Julia\u00a0Nobis, Achok Majak and Georgina Grenville.<\/p>\n

Through the photographer\u2019s lens, everything is stripped away,\u00a0focusing on the essence of the brand and its essentials:\u00a0Tiffany Blue\u00ae, diamonds, skin and scent. As a subtle nod to the\u00a0sensory experience of the fragrance, the images center on the pulse\u00a0points of the body\u2014the neck, the wrists, behind the ears\u2014conjuring\u00a0that transformative moment when scent makes contact with bare\u00a0skin. The crystal bottle, gleaming with a hint of blue juice, is\u00a0reminiscent of iconic Tiffany jewels, ultimately reminding us that\u00a0all you need is blue.<\/p>\n

The new fragrance will debut in duty-free stores around the world from October 2017.<\/p>\n
