Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has announced the opening of its third Gold store at the award-winning Hamad International Airport (HIA).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The new Gold store is HIA\u2019s most exciting and luxurious yet, showcasing more than 15,000 pieces of exquisite traditional and modern jewellery made from the finest gold and diamonds.<\/p>\n
Passengers will be treated to a wide variety of gold and diamonds \u2013 with pieces ranging from 9ct to 24ct in yellow gold, white gold, diamond and precious stone-studded jewellery. In addition to ready-made jewellery pieces, the store also sells single gemstones and loose diamonds, offering a range of options for passengers to choose from.<\/p>\n
The new branch, which has been designed in the shape of the figure \u201c8\u201d by a local architect, is the biggest of all three at HIA, covering a retail space of 119 square meters. It is located in the Grand Hall, behind the iconic Urs Fischer Lamp Bear, making it easily visible and accessible to all passengers travelling through the airport.<\/p>\n
As part of QDF\u2019s five-star customer service, expert bilingual staff will be on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the store, to offer bespoke services to passengers wishing to purchase a piece of this fine jewellery.<\/p>\n

The Gold store is a welcome addition to Qatar Duty Free\u2019s already 90 plus premium boutiques located throughout the terminal, providing travellers at HIA the very best in duty free shopping.<\/p>\n
HIA, the home of QDF, has met a number of significant milestones in 2017, including being classified as a five-star airport by Skytrax, making it one of only five other airports in the world to achieve this status. Earlier this year, it was ranked \u2018Sixth Best Airport in the World\u2019 by the 2017 Skytrax World Airport Awards, moving up four places from 2016. HIA has also won the \u2018Best Airport in the Middle East\u2019 title for three years in a row and \u2018Best Staff Service in the Middle East\u2019 for two years in a row.<\/p>\n
