Ballantine’s launches first Limited Edition 30 Year Old Cask Edition exclusively in Korea Travel Retail with special VIP experience and personalised gifts for travellers.

Beautifully crafted and selected by one of Scotland’s most respected Master Blenders, Ballantine’s 30 Year Old Cask Edition is a rare whisky from Ballantine’s, the No.2 blended Scotch whisky in the world. Travellers will be able to discover the intensified flavours of poached pear, honey and vanilla with the launch of this first limited edition expression available exclusively in Korea Travel Retail, and bottled at cask strength.

For this special release, Ballantine’s Master Blender Sandy Hyslop has expertly hand-selected some of Ballantine’s rarest whiskies, skilfully blending and preparing them in small batches at cask strength to craft a beautiful whisky that intensifies the qualities and flavours of Ballantine’s original award winning Ballantine’s 30 Year Old. Each bottle has a unique batch and bottle number and is encased in a luxurious package design of rich dark wood, embossed details and opulent copper accents. This makes it a rare collector’s item or the ultimate gift to show gratitude for loved ones during Chuseok, a major Korean holiday and time of cultural significance for honouring your ancestors.

Ballantine’s Master Blender Sandy Hyslop commented: “I am very proud to introduce the very first Ballantine’s 30 Year Old Cask Edition to Korea Duty Free. Aged for at least 30 years, this precious whisky comes straight from our very best, hand-selected casks and delivers intensified aromas of poached pears, creamy vanilla and heather honey, a velvety texture on the palate with sweet flavours of soft peach and fudge. With a rich and long-lasting finish, this is truly a precious and exceptional whisky to be enjoyed and experienced with your friends and family during important occasions, such as Chuseok.”
