The second series of the Jeff Koons Masters collection, further exploring the intersection of fashion and art, is now available in stores and online –\u00a0including airport and other duty-free outlets around the world.<\/p>\n

Recognised as one of the most influential living artists and based on the artist\u2019s \u201cMasters\u201d series of paintings, this second chapter starts this winter and includes: Reclining Girl by Fran\u00e7ois Boucher; Delightful Land by Paul Gauguin; Luncheon on the Grass by Edouard Manet; Water Lilies by Claude Monet; The Triumph of Pan by Nicolas Poussin (exclusive for Maison Louis Vuitton Vend\u00f4me) and Ancient Rome by J.W. Turner.<\/p>\n

Shoppers heading to London over the holidays can also enjoy a special treat in the famous Selfridges Department Store on Oxford Street where Louis Vuittion has opened a (permanent) pop up store – see below:<\/p>\n

Louis Vuitton opens a pop-up store in London\u2019s renowned Selfridges department store 22nd November 2017.<\/strong>
\nThe new space in Selfridges department store is located on the ground floor and will host constantly changing product animations. The first animation is the second chapter of \u2018Masters\u2019, a collection of handbags and accessories designed in collaboration with Jeff Koons.<\/p>\n

The metal rabbit-shaped sculptures – Jeff Koons\u2019 symbol and signature – animate the store along with his work that is illustrated on the walls. The materials used for this setup play with each other and create a pleasant and surprising contrast.<\/p>\n

Jeff Koons is one of the most widely recognised figures working in contemporary art. Born in 1955 in York, Pennsylvania, he studied painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Upon graduating in 1976, Koons moved to Manhattan and funded his early works by working as a commodities broker. Inflatable flowers, balloon animals, cartoon characters and mirrored surfaces quickly established themselves as recurring elements in his 40-year career.<\/p>\n
