Ballantine’s launches Single Malt Series – a collection of three outstanding 15 Years Old Single Malt Scotch whiskies.

Ballantine’s, the no. 2 Scotch whisky in the world, takes an innovative move into the Single Malts category with the global launch of three Single Malts. Launched with a 3 month exclusivity period in select Travel Retail locations before rolling out into domestic markets globally, the three outstanding Single Malts celebrate the distinct personality and flavours of three signature distilleries in Speyside, Scotland: Glenburgie, Miltonduff and Glentauchers.

Staying true to Ballantine’s heritage, the series allows travellers to discover the three signature malts that form a perfectly balanced Ballantine’s whisky. The Glenburgie Single Malt acts as the heart of Ballantine’s whisky, delivering fruitiness and honeyed sweetness with a velvety texture. The Miltonduff Single Malt is the foundation of Ballantine’s whisky character bringing warmth with a subtle hint of cinnamon spice and gentle liquorice flavours. While The Glentauchers Single Malt delivers the delicate lingering finish of Ballantine’s with hints of floral heather on the nose and berries and barley sugar on the palate.

The release of the Ballantine’s Single Malt Series continues the innovative spirit of Ballantine’s founder, George Ballantine, who believed that every individual should explore their own path and do things differently.

Mathieu Deslandes, Ballantine’s Global Brand Director comments: “Single Malts are a dynamic, fast-growing category as more and more consumers become lovers of this iconic Scottish drink. As a pioneering environment, Travel Retail felt like the natural place to unveil the series before launching globally. We are excited for fans of Ballantine’s to discover the quality of these Single Malts as they are widely recognised as the heart of Ballantine’s.”
