BUY Paris Duty Free ended 2017 on a high note with the sale of a very rare and exclsuive bottle of Scotch whisky – The Balvenie 50 Year Old (Cask 4570) – at Paris Charles De Gaulle airport.<\/p>\n

This exceptional single malt whisky was listed by Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail for its Whisky Cellar section within the main liquor outlet at Paris CDG Terminal 2E (Air France hub) this summer.<\/p>\n

The first retailer to list The Balvenie 50 (Cask 4570) through a European airport, BUY Paris Duty Free was delighted to sell the bottle to a customer from China within two months. A second bottle has now been ordered and is on display in La Cave \u00e0 whisky while, thanks to this success, Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail has now additionally listed the Glenfiddich 50 Year Old and Glenfiddich Cask Collection Finest Solera, all displayed in individual glass display cabinets.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail is launching the disruptive Glenfiddich Experimental Series with IPA Experiment and Project XX appearing on the shelves at Paris CDG this month. The most significant single malt launch for William Grant & Sons in a decade, the innovative Glenfiddich Experimental Series will be appearing at airports in Asia, the Middle East and Europe in early 2018 (see previous story<\/a> on Duty Free Hunter)<\/p>\n
