The Marimekko for Clinique Limited Edition Collection combines the iconic, colourful patterns of Finnish design house Marimekko with Clinique’s everyday beauty essentials.<\/p>\n

The collection will be launched on Clinique.com<\/a> in January 2018 and in-store at Clinique retailers starting February, and will be available worldwide for a limited time at leading department stores, duty-free shops and online.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis collection captures the quintessential modern aesthetic of Marimekko and the bright vibrancy of Clinique to inspire and empower women by bringing the joy of possibilities to her every day,\u201d says Jane Lauder, Clinique Global Brand President.<\/p>\n

The collection introduces Clinique\u2019s newest lip innovation, Clinique Pop Splash Lip Gloss + Hydration, as well as lipstick and carefully curated gift with purchase items. All these everyday beauty essentials are dressed in Marimekko\u2019s iconic prints designed by Annika Rimala (1936-2014), Marimekko\u2019s most prominent ready-to-wear designer in the 1960\u2019s and 1970\u2019s and one of the most influential fashion designers of her time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe prints chosen for the collection represent some of the most recognisable and celebrated Marimekko designs of all time. They capture the craftsmanship behind Marimekko\u2019s art of print making: utilising overlays of colour and surprising colour combinations to create impactful designs,\u201d says Minna Kemell-Kutvonen who is in charge of Marimekko\u2019s print design.<\/p>\n
