\nThe Israeli actress and model stars in a new international campaign for the brand called Live Boldly\u2014a departure from the love-centered campaigns of the last several years. For Gadot, makeup goes hand-in-hand with the feminist cultural shift. \u201cAnything that makes you feel more confident more beautiful and better about yourself has to do with feminism,\u201d she told WWD. \u201cThere\u2019s a big misinterpretation about the way that people view the term of feminism. I have friends \u2014 girlfriends \u2014 who have careers and they\u2019re mothers and they do it all, and they are afraid to say that they\u2019re a feminist.\u201d<\/p>\n
This is Gadot’s first major beauty contract, following a small campaign with Gucci Bloom fragrances<\/a> before the release of Wonder Woman. \u201cI\u2019ve been familiar with Revlon<\/a> since I can remember myself wearing makeup,\u201d Gadot told WWD, mentioning to editors this morning that both her mother and Grandmother favoured the brand. \u201cThey love women, they celebrate women and they\u2019re very accessible.\u201d<\/p>\n
