Jameson has unveiled its seventh annual limited-edition bottle design for its famous Irish whiskey in celebration of 2018’s St Patrick\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n


\nA trio of creative minds have collaborated to create the 2018 Jameson Paddy\u2019s Day bottle design<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jameson partnered with a group of artists for this year\u2019s design, including Irish illustrator Claudine O\u2019Sullivan, British designer Alex Mellon and Irish photographer Leonn Ward.<\/p>\n

The design is inspired by the Fianna \u2013 Irish mythological warriors known for valuing loyalty and bravery.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Sullivan\u2019s hand-drawn eagle represents the unity of three friends on a night out, whose silhouettes feature on the bottle. The silhouettes were taken from a photo shot against Dublin\u2019s Ha\u2019penny Bridge by Ward.<\/p>\n

The friends are surrounded by banners and symbols that represent Irish tribes, drawn by Mellon.<\/p>\n

The limited-edition Jameson bottle comes with an NFC chip that allows consumers to access content on jamesonwhiskey.com<\/a>. It will be available to purchase in 35 countries globally, including Ireland, Japan and Australia from February at the regular price of \u00a320 (US$28) per bottle.<\/p>\n

Simon Fay, international marketing director at Irish Distillers, said: \u201cDublin has long been a city of artists, adventurers and friends, so for Jameson\u2019s 2018 limited edition bottle we collaborated with three artists with different creative backgrounds to celebrate true friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n
