Georgia May Jagger\u00a0has been signed up as the new face of\u00a0Thierry Mugler<\/a>‘s cult Angel fragrance. The model follows in the footsteps of her mother Jerry Hall, as well as Naomi Watts and Eva Mendes, by representing the scent – Hall was the face of Angel from 1995 to 1997.<\/p>\n

“My mother was a muse of Mugler and appeared regularly in his Paris runway shows. I have such wonderful memories of the fragrance and my mother’s involvement with the Mugler brand,” said Jagger, who has appeared in Just Cavalli fragrance campaigns as well as numerous adverts for Rimmel. “It’s very special to me to be following in my mother’s footsteps.”<\/p>\n

S\u00f8lve Sundsb\u00f8 shot the campaign imagery for print advertising and also a television campaign, due to debut in June and September respectively according to\u00a0WWD<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“It was a very creative ad. At one point, I was painted blue and covered in sparkles,” said the model, who wore a Mugler design to last night’sMet Ball<\/a>. “It was incredible to go through the Mugler archives and see so many incredible dresses. It was quite inspiring to see it all.”<\/p>\n

Angel was the first fragrance launched by Mugler, introduced in 1992 and still one of the top 10 bestsellers in the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
