Paul Smith is launching a new men\u2019s fragrance in duty-free that blends notes of yellow mandarin, pink peppercorn and patchouli oil – Hello You!<\/p>\n

The joy of discovery is central to every Paul Smith design. Whether it\u2019s colourful stitching on the inside of a jacket or the drawing of a pin-up hidden inside a wallet, unexpected details put a playful twist on classic designs.<\/p>\n

The new fragrance, Hello You!, follows this principle as it takes Paul\u2019s design signatures and subtly subverts them.<\/p>\n

Two Paul Smith signatures combine<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello You! blends two design icons from Paul\u2019s career to create something new.<\/p>\n

The Artist Stripe is the latest addition to Paul Smith\u2019s family of famous stripes and appears throughout the men\u2019s and women\u2019s collections. Added to this is the pin-up illustration that is usually found hidden within Paul Smith wallets.<\/p>\n

The Bottle<\/strong><\/p>\n

True to tradition, the new Hello You! bottle uses the original Paul Smith shape designed by the architect Sophie Hicks in 2000.<\/p>\n

The elegant square bottle with a screw-on cap is updated with Artist Stripe detailing and a discreetly placed pin-up on the side of the bottle, which adds a fun and unexpected element to this classic design.<\/p>\n

The Fragrance<\/strong><\/p>\n

For Hello You!, perfumers Fanny Bal & Dominique Ropion were inspired by Paul Smith\u2019s celebrated use of colour.<\/p>\n

The fragrance plays with traditional British themes with a light and irreverent touch. It starts with a fresh, sparkling citrus opening, which is followed by a very British aromatic lavender heart, blended with a fruity apple accord. The base notes underline the strong masculinity of patchouli and vetiver, magnified with the sensuality of ciste absolute.<\/p>\n
