The collaborative capsule collection of makeup products for lips, eyes and cheeks will be out in September for Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

Isabel Marant and L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris have joined forces to create a capsule makeup collection, including products for the lips, eyes and cheeks, WWD has learned. It is due out in September.<\/p>\n

This marks the second time L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris has created a limited-edition color cosmetics line with a fashion designer. Last year, it launched a capsule with Balmain\u2019s Olivier Rousteing.<\/p>\n

Marant \u2014 whose fashion brand has been credited with inventing the bohemian Parisienne hipster-meets-tomboy look favoured by celebrities such as Beyonc\u00e9, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kendall and Kylie Jenner \u2014 told WWD her idea was in part to conceive non-makeup makeup products. \u201cBut also the idea was rather to have a few necessary products that one always has in her bag and can be used in a very nomadic way,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that corresponds more to the way of life of the Isabel Marant girl,\u201d the designer continued. \u201cShe is rather natural in the day but doesn\u2019t have the time to go back home before going out [in the evening] and to redo her entire beauty look. So the idea was to have the three or four products that in a flash help sublimate a face with very simple and spontaneous gestures.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris global brand president, there were numerous reasons to partner with Marant.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is one of the most iconic Parisian fashion brands,\u201d he said, adding both the label and the designer herself are \u201cextremely inspiring.\u201d The executive explained Marant perfectly embodies the new vision of femininity L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris is focused on today.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a question of portraying a woman who is self-realized,\u201d he said. \u201cAt the same time, she\u2019s an exceptional woman, a role model\u2026[one that] has this ability to relate and talk to people.\u201d<\/p>\n

She is \u201cinspiring and at the same time very natural, with a touch of irreverence,\u201d Angeloglou said.<\/p>\n

The L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris x Isabel Marant product line includes five different products for lips, eyes and cheeks, to create natural or smoky looks. It will prelaunch online beginning Sept. 19. Then the worldwide launch \u2014 at L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris sales points off- and online, and in Isabel Marant stores \u2014 is set for Sept. 27, the day of the designer\u2019s fashion show during women\u2019s ready-to-wear season in Paris. L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris is among Paris Fashion Week\u2019s official sponsors.<\/strong><\/p>\n
