Moschino\u2019s fall-winter 2018 campaign continues to spotlight the alien theme from its runway show (watch below) from February. Artistic director Jeremy Scott taps Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Vittoria Ceretti and Soo Joo Park for images lensed by Steven Meisel.<\/p>\n
Painted like \u2018Star Trek\u2019 aliens, the models wear 60\u2019s inspired skirt suits and dresses in vibrant colours. Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele styles the shoot with makeup by Pat McGrath and hair by Guido Palau.<\/p>\n
However, the campaign has generated considerable controversy in the US. Scott had introduced the campaign images on Instagram alongside the caption: \u201cThe only thing illegal about this alien is how good she looks!\u201d<\/p>\n

He later clarified the comment, writing: \u201cWHAT IS AN \u201cALIEN?\u201d THE CONCEPT OF MY AD CAMPAIGN IS TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE US ADMINISTRATION\u2019S HARSH STANCE TOWARDS \u2018ILLEGAL ALIENS.\u2019<\/p>\n

The images show the models wearing bright coloured body paint, in a collection that was debuted back in\u00a0February, but many thought the caption was insensitive given the current immigration crisis in America. But while some dubbed it insensitive, others claimed that Scott was trying purposefully make a statement about immigration and inclusivity.<\/p>\n
