Capi, The Travellers Electronics Company, has reopened its store at Frankfurt Airport with a stunning space and offers for travelling shoppers.

Capi celebrated the opening of her first Omnichannel store at Frankfurt Airport. As Capi’s first and foremost priority is to ensure a trendsetting and inspiring shopping experience, Omnichannel was the most logical next step. Staff warmly welcomed travellers to join in on the celebrations of the newly refurbished store, whilst enjoying a delicious white chocolate cake.

Capi and Frankfurt Airport have known a long and successful collaboration in airport retail. As a prominent airport, Frankfurt also took steps within their own Omnichannel strategy, strengthening the business relation furthermore. Capi offers the convenience to purchase items, which travellers cannot take on board the aircraft, and have it delivered at their doorstep. With the ‘You travel, we deliver’ service, travellers have the opportunity to purchase, for example Dyson vacuum cleaners, SMEG Home Appliances and Harman Kardon Citation Smart Audio. By introducing the Omnichannel concept, Capi has successfully realized a new segment in Travel Retail and thereby enhanced the travellers experience.

Peter Wiggers, Managing Director at Capi-Lux states: “We are thrilled with the reopening of our store which contributes to, and enhances our travellers’ journey, offering new product categories thanks to our new ‘You travel, we deliver.’ service.”

Besides Omnichannel, Capi also presents their trusted Marketing Concepts with the latest innovations, Special Offers, exciting gadgets and gifts on The Gadget Table and a pre-selection of fast-selling, best-reviewed products via Travellers Choice. As in all Capi shops, The Gadget Table forms the centre of the store. In this way, travellers passing by will immediately perceive the exciting gifts and gadgets displayed on this table and will be encouraged to enter the store. Moreover, the Special Offer bins showcase the valuable propositions Capi created for travellers. These sharply priced propositions are presented in volume to incite impulse buying behaviour. With the best brands and latest innovations, combined with Omnichannel, Capi will inspire and surprise travellers everyday again.
