Chopard’s new scent, Rose de Caroline, is strong, ethically sourced and inspired by the garden of Caroline Scheufele – and costs almost \u00a3500…<\/p>\n

The brand’s luxury line of fragrances is called the Chopard Collection. It was first launched in 2017 with a dark blue presentation.The second edition, Gardens of Paradise, followed in 2018 dressed in emerald green flacons with a special cut glass effect. The new edition stands proud in a regal, ruby red – titled Rose de Caroline.<\/p>\n

“Inspired by Chopard’s Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele, the Rose de Caroline Eau de Parfum pays homage to her favourite flower. Created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas, the powdery scent infuses gentle Rose Centifolia with the depth of Bulgarian Rose, forming a unique composition with an exceptional, floral trail.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018We used 300,000 rose petals to create one litre of the essential oil which is part of the Bulgarian rose so it\u2019s a real jewel in the air,\u2019 Patrizio Stella, CEO of Chopard Parfums, explained.<\/p>\n

The fragrance, created by Chopard\u2019s master perfumer, Alberto Morillas, was inspired by Caroline Scheufele\u2019s own rose garden. As well as containing the hard-to-source Bulgarian rose oil, it\u2019s made up of Centifolia rose absolute oil and essences of Patchouli, Cedar, Cypriol as well as vanilla from Madagascar, cardamom and cinnamon.<\/p>\n

Was it a daunting task creating a fragrance named after your boss? Not so for Alberto, \u2018Thankfully, she loved it straight away, she didn\u2019t want to change many things. She was in love immediately.’<\/p>\n

The bottle, shaped like an emerald-cut diamond, has a gold-toned cap that was based on the Palme d’Or (Golden Palm) award given to winners at the Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n

Chopard Rose de Caroline is available as an Eau de Parfum 100ml priced at \u00a3495 exclusively from Harrods<\/a> in London. A global roll-out to selected premium retailers and duty-free stores will follow shortly.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
