Opening a new story of magic and imagination, Gucci’s the new luxury scent collection is inspired by the science of alchemy influencing the old art of fragrance making for seven eaux de parfum, four perfumed oils, three acque profumate and a scented candle.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea that some primary scents of perfumery, like the essences of the flowers, the green scent of some plants could be joined to atmospheres, linked to memories.\u201d – Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele.<\/p>\n

Introducing The Alchemist\u2019s Garden collection, inspired by the science of alchemy influencing the old art of fragrance making for seven eaux de parfum, four perfumed oils, three acque profumate and a scented candle.
\nEvery fragrance and formula of The Alchemist\u2019s Garden was created by Alessandro Michele and master perfumer Alberto Morillas as an unicum, telling the story of a place, a moment, a season and a memory of a scent.
\nThe singular scents in the eaux de parfum, acque profumate and perfumed oils can be layered in a multitude of combinations to construct a customizable, special sillage\u2014the amount the perfume lingers in the air when it is worn.<\/p>\n

The Eaux De Parfum<\/strong>
\nA pastiche of reference points guided the creation of seven eau de parfum which champion a hero ingredient for each scent: rose, oud, amber, violet, woods, iris and mimosa. The perfumes are contained in a decorative porcelain bottle, with whimsical illustrations and evocative names. \u2018A Song for the Rose\u2019 is an expression of absolute femininity and features notes of rose with musk and woods. \u2018The Voice of the Snake\u2019 is named for a snake\u2019s movement in the forest with natural oud, leather, saffron and patchouli. \u2018The Eyes of the Tiger\u2019 conjures an imagined journey into the soul of the tiger with notes of tonka, vanilla and ciste resin. \u2018The Virgin Violet\u2019 embodies a white swan with notes of musk, violet and vanilla. \u2018The Last Day of Summer\u2019 captures the breeze of a forest on an early Autumn day with cedarwoods and cypress. \u2018Tears of Iris\u2019 is a sensual interpretation of the iris flower. \u2018Winter\u2019s Spring\u2019 conveys the joy of the end of winter in the bright powdery mimosa flower mixed with pepper and musk.<\/p>\n

The Acque Profumate<\/strong>
\nRevealing the House\u2019s pink rose print, the Acque Profumate bottles are crafted from white lacquered glass, each celebrating a single note in modern compositions. \u2018Fading Autumn\u2019 has a fragrance of bois modern, \u2018A Winter Melody\u2019 features a note of cypress and \u2018Moonlight Serenade\u2019 lavender.<\/p>\n

The Perfumed Oils<\/strong>
\nSage green toned lacquered glass bottles for the perfumed oils reveal a touche Oreille. The glass pipette style applicator is a vintage way to apply the scents blended with previous raw materials: rose in \u2018A Forgotten Rose\u2019, oud in \u2018Nocturnal Reverie\u2019, violet in \u2018The Violet Kiss\u2019 and bois modern in \u2018Ode on Melancholy\u2019.<\/p>\n
