Actress Zendaya’s collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger has been partially revealed for spring-summer 2019.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya<\/a>‘s Paris Fashion Week debut, the American fashion designer and actress\/singer have given us a sneak peek of their TommyNow capsule collection. It’s the first celebrity-designed follow up to Hilfiger’s blockbuster two-year collaboration with Gigi Hadid<\/a>, but aesthetically it could not be more different.<\/p>\n

Zendaya took inspiration from the ’70s, namely the decade’s “strong, iconic women,” per a press release, including those involved in the historic 1973 Battle of Versailles fashion show. There are structured coats and blazers, high-waisted jeans, pinstripes, rainbow graphics, printed suits and wrap dresses. The collection’s aesthetic is a tad more mature than Hadid’s youthful, sporty, ’90s-inspired pieces and \u2014 at least from what we can see here \u2014 doesn’t rely on logomania as heavily as Hilfiger’s collections have lately.<\/p>\n
