{"id":40156,"date":"2019-02-27T09:36:04","date_gmt":"2019-02-27T09:36:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/?p=40156"},"modified":"2019-02-28T14:37:37","modified_gmt":"2019-02-28T14:37:37","slug":"dunhill-looks-east-brit-brand-partners-mr-bags-white-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/dunhill-looks-east-brit-brand-partners-mr-bags-white-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Dunhill looks East: Brit brand partners with Mr. Bags for White Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dunhill, the British upmarket brand has teamed up with \u2018Mr. Bags\u2019, a highly influential Chinese blogger, on the creation of a limited edition drawstring backpack.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The label\u2019s Chiltern style has been reinterpreted in a new \u2018Smog Blue\u2019 colour &#8211; Mr. Bag\u2019s favourite tonality &#8211; and will launch in a limited edition run of 300 bags via the influencer\u2019s own WeChat mini programme \u2018Baoshop\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>A luxury accessories connoisseur, Tao Liang or \u2018Mr.Bags\u2019 has helped western brands sell hundreds of dollars worth of designer handbags by promoting them on his blog and social media channels. He has previously partnered with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/mr-bags-x-longchamp-team-chinese-new-year-collection\/\">Longchamp<\/a>, Givenchy, Tod\u2019s and Montblanc.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, he reportedly helped sell 300 Tod\u2019s bags priced at about $1,620 each within six minutes on his \u2018Baoshop\u2019, generating sales of half a million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The Dunhill collaboration will launch on 4 March ahead of White Day, East Asia\u2019s answer to Valentine\u2019s Day which takes place on 14 March.
