Kennedy International Airport.<\/p>\n<p>Ghesqui\u00e8re, who tends to gravitate toward striking modernist buildings, announced the location in an Instagram post on Monday. The terminal, which opened in 1962, was designed for TWA by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen.<\/p>\n<p>Known for its wing-shaped roof and tube-shaped corridors, the mid-century modern building has been closed since 2001. It was also used as a backdrop in Steven Spielberg\u2019s \u201cCatch Me If You Can\u201d starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.<\/p>\n<p>Louis Vuitton will be the first to stage an event in the restored building before it opens to the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe TWA Flight Center, a sheer evocation of travel itself, is inherently linked to Louis Vuitton\u2019s commitment to exclusive architectural discoveries, to its art of travel, and represents an ideal close to Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re\u2019s inspirations,\u201d the brand said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Ghesqui\u00e8re convened editors at the Fondation Maeght in the village of Saint-Paul de Vence in the South of France. The year before that, it was the Miho Museum, a stunning mountaintop venue designed by I.M.
