Legacy Edition, which launched last year, presents limited edition variations of labels used throughout the brand\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
The second Legacy Edition celebrates the introduction of the first mostly black colour palette and includes a rope and anchor to represent the brand\u2019s \u201cunmoving confidence\u201d.<\/p>\n
The original version of the label that inspired Legacy Edition 2 carried a \u201cmedicinal use only\u201d disclaimer, suggesting that it was consumed when alcohol was sometimes advertised to have medicinal properties, likely in the early 1900s. However, the disclaimer won\u2019t be included on the Legacy Edition 2 label.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone recognises Jack\u2019s trademark black label, but very few realise that the Jack Daniel\u2019s label has undergone many variations over the years, most of which looked very different from the one we know today,\u201d said master distiller Jeff Arnett.<\/p>\n
