Cara Delevingne, who has both closed runway shows and fronted campaigns for Balmain has been working closely with Olivier Rousteing on the design of three of next season\u2019s bags: the BBag, Romeo and Twist.<\/p>\n

It’s no secret that Cara Delevingne and Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing are close friends. Their longstanding muse-designer relationship is still going strong and even when the British supermodel had taken a step back from walking the catwalk, she made her comeback in September just to open Balmain’s Spring\/Summer ’19 runway show.<\/p>\n

Now, it seems like their relationship has gone to the next level, as the supermodel-turned-actress has actually turned designer for the French luxury fashion house. Cara has teamed up with the house on a collaborative leather goods capsule collection, which introduces three new handbag styles: Romeo, Twist (available for pre-order) and BBag (available to shop now).<\/p>\n

Boasting a strong ’80s biker gang vibe, the new handbags see classic quilts, a black leather base with thick straps and spiked gold accents \u2014 typical Balmain fashion.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the collaboration, Balmain has released three ten-second-long interactive mini-films as its latest campaign. Shot by Polish photographer Sonia Szostak, the photographic campaign will eventually let fans choose the endings.<\/p>\n

According to Fashion Network, “The three films will see Delevingne transformed into a sort of spy, pursued or on the attack, engulfed in a red glow to evoke the suspenseful atmosphere of film noir.”<\/p>\n
