Johnnie Walker has announced the Johnnie Walker Black Label Origin Series \u2013 a range of four new regional expressions designed to celebrate the \u2018four corners\u2019 of Scotland. The range will launch first to global travel retail in July 2019.<\/p>\n
The limited-edition range, unveiled by brand owner Diageo, comprises Islay, Highlands, Lowlands and Speyside Origin expressions, all aged for 12 years, in line with Johnnie Walker Black Label.<\/p>\n
The Islay, Highlands and Speyside Origin whiskies are all blended malts, while the Lowlands Origin expression is a blended Scotch whisky, combining malt with grain whisky from Cameronbridge.<\/p>\n
All expressions only feature whiskies from their particular regions, while the packaging highlights hero distilleries, including Caol Ila, Glenkinchie, Cardhu and Clynelish. All are bottled at 42% abv, with an RRP of \u00a335\/\u20ac40 per one-litre bottle.<\/p>\n
The range will launch first to global travel retail in July 2019, with the Lowlands and Speyside Origin expressions due to be released to \u2018selected markets\u2019, including India, in October. The whole range will be rolled out globally in 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Johnnie Walker is offering travellers the opportunity to explore more and better understand the unique flavour profiles of Scotland\u2019s four main whisky producing regions with the introduction of the limited edition Johnnie Walker Black Label Origin Series.<\/p>\n
Throughout their near 200 years of history, Johnnie Walker have prided themselves on discovering and celebrating the finest malts from the four corners of Scotland. Johnnie Walker Black Label Origin Series is born out of that sense of exploration, and a thirst to find the best flavours that the four corners of Scotland have to offer.<\/p>\n
It is a new collection of four, 12-year-old blended Scotch whiskies that include incredible single malts from some of the world\u2019s most famous distilleries.<\/p>\n
Each Scotch in the collection is crafted only using whiskies from a particular region to capture the primary flavour characteristics of that area, giving global travellers the opportunity to discover the wide array of flavours Scotland has to offer.<\/p>\n
Three of these limited editions are blended exclusively from some of our finest single malts, and a further edition expertly brings together quality single malt and grain whiskies to best represent the that region\u2019s flavour profile.<\/p>\n

Johnnie Walker Black Label Highlands Origin<\/em><\/strong> has a rich<\/strong> and dark fruitiness, with red berry and stone fruit notes. It is crafted exclusively from single malts from the Highlands, with whisky from Clynelish and Teaninich at its core<\/li>\n
Johnnie Walker Black Label Islay Origin<\/em><\/strong> has a slight spice and is for people want to explore whiskies with a warming maritime smokiness<\/strong>. It is made exclusively from exceptional Islay single malts, including Lagavulin and Caol Ila<\/li>\n
Johnnie Walker Black Label Speyside Origin<\/em><\/strong> is a light and fruity<\/strong> whisky with hints of cut green apples and orchard fruit. It is made exclusively from quality single malts from the Speyside region of Scotland, with whisky from the distilleries of Cardhu and Glendullan at its heart<\/li>\n
Johnnie Walker Black Label Lowlands Origin<\/em><\/strong> has a sweet<\/strong>, creamy vanilla character and notes of toffee. It is made exclusively from a variety of single malt and grain whiskies from the Lowlands including Glenkinchie and Cameronbridge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Travel retail is the only environment where whisky fans can purchase the entire collection until October 2019.
