An aluminum backpack with shoulder strap accents and leather handles; a minaudi\u00e8re for holding precious essentials, a carry-on suitcase and a champagne box with an elegant, functional design were unveiled at the Summer 2020 men\u2019s show.<\/p>\n
Produced harnessing a savoir-faire of excellence, a selection of these exclusive “DIOR and RIMOWA” creations \u2013 designed in collaboration with the LVMH group-owned House specializing in luxury luggage – include an innovative technique that directly inscribes into the heart of the aluminum, like an indelible signature, the iconic Dior Oblique motif designed by Marc Bohan for Dior in 1967.<\/p>\n
In its first-ever collaboration with the luxury luggage brand RIMOWA, Dior presents a unique capsule collection, including a backpack, a champagne case, a hand case, a clutch and a cabin suitcase, characterised by the German house\u2019s iconic aluminium grooves. Forged with craftsmanship and expertise, this special-edition Dior and RIMOWA collection features the Dior Oblique motif and uses an innovative combination of anodising processes, whereby vibrant pigments are inscribed directly into the product\u2019s aluminium skin, lending the design a high complexity of reflective, lasting colours that celebrate the spirit of the material as the building block of the collection.<\/p>\n
