Acne Studios & Mulberry have announced a collaboration between the two houses, marrying Swedish design and English charm in a limited edition capsule collection.<\/p>\n

This capsule collection from Mulberry and Acne Studios sees Mulberry heritage and house codes reinterpreted by the iconic Swedish brand, with a twist of their own DNA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To announce the collaboration all the two brands released was a new logo, specially created for the new collection, with the letters of Acne Studios appearing like leaves in Mulberry\u2019s tree emblem, and a short statement adding that the high-end collection would \u201cmarrying together the signature designs of the two houses\u201d.<\/p>\n

The two brands today have unveiled the \u2018Friendship\u2019 collection of bags and small leather goods, which they describe as a collection \u201cmarrying Swedish design with English charm,\u201d while giving a \u201cfresh twist\u201d to key styles from both brands, by reinterpreting the Musubi bag, by Acne Studios, and the Bayswater, by Mulberry.<\/p>\n

Jonny Johansson, creative director of Acne Studios, explained in a statement: \u201cThis is a collection about friendship, like a conversation between Acne Studios and Mulberry that is found on mutual respect. Growing up, Mulberry was a truly iconic brand in Sweden. Their handbags bring back memories from my childhood – must be one of my earliest fashion memories.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thierry Andretta, chief executive of Mulberry, added: \u201cThe Acne Studios and Mulberry collaboration is a perfect manifestation of the spirit of both our brands. It showcases Acne Studios\u2019 wonderful Swedish design ethos and celebrates both the British heritage and modernity of Mulberry.\u201d<\/p>\n

The full collection will be available in selected Acne Studios and Mulberry stores November 5, prices range from \u00a390 for a lanyard to \u00a31,295 for a small Musubi Bayswater or a Buckled Bayswater.<\/p>\n
