It boasts furnishings and decor featuring contrasting soft femininity with touches of burnished brass. It aims to further enhance luxury retail brand options, awarding luxury tender contracts to other prestigious brands including Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Montblanc and Rimowa last year.<\/p>\n<p>Chlo\u00e9 was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne; a dark beauty with a bohemian spirit. Rejecting the stiff formality of 1950s haute couture, she created soft, alluring clothes from fine fabrics. Deciding to offer them herself to the fashion boutiques &#8211; which were just starting to carry ready-to-wear clothes- they were unique for their time, beautifully made but accessible. &#8216;Luxury pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter&#8217; was born. Gaby chose the name &#8216;Chlo\u00e9\u2019 for its warm, feminine appeal. It was perfectly in sync with the new mood of Paris; youthful, modern in design, and slightly audacious in spirit. In 2017, Chlo\u00e9 appointed Natacha Ramsay-Levi as Creative Director for ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories.
