Actor Johnny Depp has been announced as the face of the new men’s fragrance from Dior.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One member of the Depp family \u2014 16-year-old Lily-Rose, to be specific \u2014 is currently enjoying a bit of a “moment” within the fashion industry. Not only did her appearance at the Chanel M\u00e9tiers d’Art show in New York this spring make her an instant subject of Internet chatter, she also scored an editorial in Oyster magazine and was spotted partying at Jeremy Scott’s Moschino party in Palm Springs during Coachella. However, one of her more famous parents might be about to steal the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Last week, Johnny Depp was announced as the face of an upcoming men’s fragrance for Dior, which is set to be released on September 1. It’s the first time that Depp has fronted a fragrance, but he’s no stranger to the modeling game: he’s posed for brands like H&M and Montblanc in the past, and appeared on the covers of Vanity Fair, Interview and GQ. While very little info about Depp’s campaign exists \u2014 including the name of the fragrance \u2014 the release will coincide with the 51-year-old actor’s next film, Scott Cooper’s “Black Mass,” which is also due out this September.<\/p>\n
