French perfumer Kilian has launched a new extended line of its Le Rouge Parfum scented lipsticks.

The first make-up line from renowned French perfumer Kilian, Le Rouge Parfum is a collection of six deliciously scented red lipsticks with matte and satin finishes. Lightweight and silky, the longwearing formula lasts up to eight hours, delivering bold colour in a single stroke thanks to its high-intensity pigments. For gourmand lips with volume, try mixing both textures; begin by sweeping on the matte lipstick then add satin to the centre for a plump, multi-dimensional finish.<\/p>\n

\nTo create a collection that allows women to find their perfect red in gorgeous, scented lip colors\u2014for lips that make a woman feel daring and elegant and the same time.<\/p>\n

Why launch a range of lip color as KILIAN\u2019s first foray into make-up?<\/strong><\/em>
\nMy goal has always been to offer women beautiful weapons of seduction and strong shields of protection at once. Red lips are iconic and express a timelessness and sophistication that is a KILIAN aesthetic signature.<\/p>\n

And why a collection of only reds?<\/strong><\/em>
\nRed lips are just so powerful! They are also one of the most universal weapons of seduction in all cultures.<\/p>\n

How is Le Rouge Parfum lip color collection in sync with KILIAN\u2019s values and heritage?<\/strong><\/em>
\nLe Rouge Parfum is the next logical step in my ambition to make perfume visible. The senses of smell and taste are intimately linked so, in a way, the scented lipsticks also make this connection visible.<\/p>\n

What cultural references represent for you \u201cthe perfect red lip\u201d?<\/strong><\/em>
\nOne that immediately comes to my mind is the movie poster of Stanley Kubrick\u2019s interpretation of Vladimir Nabokov\u2019s book, Lolita. Sue Lyon as Lolita sucking on a lollipop with her heart-shaped glasses\u2026 irresistible!<\/p>\n
