Held in Rome on July 17th, Creative Director Alessandro Michele\u2019s Epilogue collection presentation was a unique show, the final act of a playful experimentation aimed at reversing the traditional fashion rules and perspectives. The Epilogue\u2019s beauty looks reflected this investigation and delivered an original take on makeup, in line with Gucci Beauty\u2019s manifesto of freedom and self-expression.<\/p>\n

The looks, modelled by the Gucci design office team, were created using the following eye products: Mascara L\u2019Obscur \u2013 a buildable mascara created with the ultimate ultra-rich creamy formulation for customized application; \u00c9clat De Beaut\u00e9 Effet Lumi\u00e8re \u2013 a multi-use gel gloss adding a transparent veil of high shine power to eyes, lips and cheeks; and the new Crayon D\u00e9finition Sourcils \u2013 a versatile tool for drawing and filling in the brows, with a powdery texture and easy-to-blend formula.<\/p>\n

Other Gucci Beauty products were used to complement the looks, such as the new Poudre de Beaut\u00e9 Mat Naturel \u2013 a buildable face powder that creates a unified, naturally smooth complexion. Various formulas of Rouge \u00e0 L\u00e8vres lipsticks were also featured, along with the latest addition, Vernis \u00e0 Ongles, a long-lasting nail polish available in a selection of vibrant shades.<\/p>\n

The standout beauty looks by Gucci Global Makeup Artist Thomas de Kluyver, photographed by Mark Peckmezian, included:<\/strong><\/p>\n

LOOK 10E:
\nAdding light to cheeks, lips and eyes with \u00c9clat De Beaut\u00e9 Effet Lumi\u00e8re face gloss on Olivia. The luminous effect is combined with the lightweight Poudre de Beaut\u00e9 Mat Naturel face powder shade 11. Crayon D\u00e9finition Sourcils shade 06, the powder eyebrow pencil that allows color to be combed through the brows, together with the moisture-rich Baume \u00e0 L\u00e8vres lip balm shade 01 \u2018Joslyn Clair\u2019 finish this bare-faced Gucci Epilogue look.<\/p>\n
