Lanson bottles have evolved gently and subtly, with a new packaging to bring the presentation of the range into line with the values conveyed by the Maison.

More coherent and consistent, the range gains in clarity by being structured around 10 cuv\u00e9es. With the same objective of renewal, the bottles’ packaging will evolve in a subtle way, with a focus on elegance and modernity.<\/p>\n

A SHORTER AND CONSISTENT RANGE<\/strong>
\nMaison Lanson now offers a range of products in 3 sections:
\nFive Champagnes for Core Range which illustrate the Maison’s style: le Black Label Brut, le Ros\u00e9, le White Label Sec, le Black Reserve and le Blanc de Blancs.
\nThree Champagnes, Rare & Exceptional, express a specific and specialised terroir and expertise of the House: Green Label, Vintage 2009 and le Clos Lanson.
\nTwo Cuv\u00e9e de Prestige 100% Grands Crus sublimating an exceptional year: la Noble Cuv\u00e9e Brut 2002 and la Noble Cuv\u00e9e Blanc de Blancs 2002.<\/p>\n

Le Black R\u00e9serve and Le Blanc de Blancs are exclusive for Duty Free\/Travel Retail, Premium Wine retailers & On-premise. Both cuv\u00e9es will be unveiled first in Paris Airports ( Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail in Paris CDG and Orly) in October 2020 and highlighted during the festive period.\u200b\u00a0\u00a0Le Black R\u00e9serve\u200b will also be available at Heinemann Duty Free stores.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Edouard De Boissieu, Head of Travel Retail Champagne Lanson explains, <\/strong>“Covid-19 has impacted hugely on all of us and\u00a0travel retail is facing a volume drop that could not be avoided. However, Travel Retail remains\u00a0a priority channel for Lanson; we have not diverted from our ambition to grow our footprint in this business and believe our new redefined range will help us to achieve that goal. For Lanson, GTR\u00a0offers us an image-building channel where the brand still has great development potential in the mid\/long term.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Our belief in the value of GTR is further shown by our introduction of\u00a0Le Black R\u00e9serve\u00a0and\u00a0Le Blanc de Blancs\u00a0cuv\u00e9es which\u00a0will be exclusive to Duty-Free, Wine retailers and On-premise – thus not available to consumers on the High Street. This gives us that point of difference for travel retail which is so important.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A NEW AUTHENTICITY ELEGANT DESIGN<\/strong>
\nLanson bottles have evolved gently and subtly, with a new packaging to bring the presentation of the range into line with the values conveyed by the Maison.
\nThe bottle reinforces its identity and history. The Lanson Cross, inspired by the Maltese Cross, dates back to 1798 when the founder’s son, then a member of the Hospitaller Order of Malta, decided to adopt the Cross as the emblem of the Maison. A symbol of kindness which became the emblem of Lanson Champagnes.<\/p>\n

The bottle display the Royal Warrant, a distinction awarded to Lanson by Queen Victoria in 1900 and which the Maison has kept without interruption until today.
\nThe founding date of the Maison, 1760, has also been highlighted to emphasise our history and time-honoured expertise.<\/p>\n

The Rare & Exceptional Cuv\u00e9es each display their own wonderful specificity: the special year for Vintage, the organic vineyard for the Green Label and the unique plot for the Clos Lanson.<\/p>\n

AN INFORMATIVE BACK LABEL<\/strong>
\nMaison Lanson has rethought its back labels by focusing on greater transparency and more precise information. It is now possible to know for each cuv\u00e9e, the details of the blends, the dosage, the harvest base, the reserve wines, the date of disgorging and the traceability of the bottles.<\/p>\n

Through this approach, the Maison promotes its expertise and underscores the precise and exceptional quality of our wines to the consumer.
