This summer, Maui Jim will introduce three new sunglasses that capture the feeling of some of Hawaii\u2019s most exotic features, from remote islands, to native birds and the exotic flavors of Hawaii\u2019s various ethnic groups.<\/p>\n

Just like the untouched beauty of parts of the islands, all three new styles \u2013 Flat Island, Mannikin and Mixed Plate \u2013 make simple, uncomplicated eyewear statements, but deliver a big impact.<\/p>\n

The frames are made from high-grade, injection-molded nylon to produce some of the smoothest lines in sunglasses for the season. The lightweight frames are devoid of embellishments, which enhances their sleek looks. However, hidden in the nose bridges are rubber pads to enhance stability; and the temples have spring hinges for added comfort. The elegant, semi-gloss finishes and muted colouring add to their understated style.<\/p>\n

Maui Jim\u2019s SuperThin (ST) Glass lenses offer unmatched, edge-to-edge clarity, they are 20 percent thinner and lighter than conventional glass lenses, and are naturally scratch-resistant. The lenses use the company\u2019s patented PolarizedPlus2\u00ae lens technology that makes colours pop, enhances definition and improves depth perception. This technology cuts 100 percent of UV rays and 99.9 percent of glare from above, below and behind each lens.
