Mumbai Duty Free has announced the launch of Glenmorangie\u2019s new travel retail exclusive range of three delicious single malts \u2014 The Accord, The Elementa, and Tribute; making the retailer the very first duty-free store to house this range in the Indian sub-continent.<\/p>\n

Glenmorangie\u2019s whisky creators have dedicated themselves to crafting the most wondrous single malts since 1843. With these latest creations, Dr Bill Lumsden, Director of Distilling, Whisky Creation & Whisky Stocks, pays homage to their expertise. Each whisky is distilled in Glenmorangie\u2019s signature copper stills, the tallest in Scotland, for a fruity and fragrant spirit, revealing the Distillery\u2019s mastery of timeless techniques such as cask marrying and wood finishing. Shared with travelers worldwide from early 2020, and now making its way into the Indian Subcontinent, the trio includes:<\/p>\n

– The Accord:<\/strong> A fruity and rich 12-year-old whisky marrying bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks; the Accord is inspired by the classic art of marrying casks. Selecting a smooth, fruity Glenmorangie aged in bourbon barrels, it has been carefully balanced with a sweet, spicy whisky matured in Oloroso sherry butts. Named to reflect its perfect harmony of casks, the Accord brims with rich, fruit notes and the signature finesse of Glenmorangie whiskies.<\/p>\n

– The Elementa:<\/strong> A spicy and deep 14-year-old whisky finished in new charred oak casks; the Elementa celebrates Wood Finishing; an art that Glenmorangie is known to have pioneered for over 30 years; revealing the depths of flavor that a skillful finish can bring. Taking whisky aged in bourbon casks, the Elementa was finished in new charred oak casks for woody depth and warm spice. As its name suggests, this whisky\u2019s taste deliciously reflects the natural influences of the new wood.\u201d<\/p>\n

– The Tribute:<\/strong> A zesty and rounded 16-year-old whisky created from a heritage spirit batch. There was a time when peat was the main source of fuel at Glenmorangie, giving our spirit a noticeably smoky style. To celebrate this heritage, the brand has distilled a rare, lightly peated spirit with a hint of smoke. Aged in bourbon casks and united with Glenmorangie\u2019s signature spirit, the Tribute\u2019s citrus smoothness and rounded flavors are a zesty nod to the past.\u201d<\/p>\n
