Adam Driver is fronting Burberry\u2019s new scent, due out in August. It will be the first perfume created by the house\u2019s artistic director Riccardo Tisci.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m very happy to be working with Burberry on this campaign, and with Riccardo Tisci in representing his first fragrance for the brand,\u201d Driver said in a statement released on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Driver sported Burberry at the opening night of the Cannes Film Festival on July 6. He walked the red carpet with Marion Cotillard, with whom he stars in the movie \u201cAnnette.\u201d<\/p>\n
Burberry\u2019s fragrance and cosmetics license is currently held by Coty Inc., which started managing the fashion label\u2019s beauty business in October 2017. Prior to that, the activity was run in house at Burberry.<\/p>\n
Tisci has tapped a range of young talents to front his campaigns, who Driver will join, including FKA Twigs, Kendall Jenner and Marcus Rashford, which has given the century-and-a-half-old brand a fresh burst of relevance in 2021.<\/p>\n
