R\u00e9my Martin claims to be quenching demand for an ultra-premium Cognac expression with the launch of the \u00a3800 Centaure de Diamant in select European markets and global duty-free.
\nThe fine Champagne blend of 20-50-year-old eaux de vie will form the pinnacle of the core R\u00e9my Martin Cognac range in the UK, France, Belgium and Russia.<\/p>\n

Created by outgoing R\u00e9my Martin cellar master Pierrette Trichet in 2010, Centaure de Diamant is said to deliver notes of fig, prune, orange marmalade, hazelnuts and coffee beans.<\/p>\n

The expression, named after the R\u00e9my Martin<\/a> centaur emblem, is presented in a diamond-shaped decanter complete with cabochon stopper, in a lined gift box.<\/p>\n

Anne-Laure Pressat, UK brand ambassador for R\u00e9my Martin, said Centaure de Diamant complimented the existing portfolio of three expressions, as there is a \u201cdemand for higher quality in the UK\u201d.<\/p>\n

Exclusively available in Harrods<\/a> from 16-31 June, Centaure de Diamant will become more widely available in limited quantities from specialist retailers from 1 July. It will also be available in global duty free.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The release is the last created by Trichet, who passes the role of cellar master on to prot\u00e9g\u00e9 Baptiste Loiseau.<\/p>\n
