“Golden Hour,” the period before sunset, in the city of Rome is the inspiration for the new perfume duo of the Italian fashion house Valentino: Valentino Born In Roma Coral Fantasy.<\/p>\n

The concept of the new perfumes Born in Roma was conceived by the creative director of the house, Pierpaolo Piccioli, as a combination of old and new, a combination of sophistication of high fashion and street style.<\/p>\n

To turn the energy of this magical moment into a feminine fragrance, Valentino hired perfumers Nad\u00e8ge Le Garlantezec and Jacques Huclier. This fragrant journey is marked by a fruity, powdery-floral creation. The essence of orange from Brazil awakens the senses with a lively kiwi accord. At the heart of the perfume, jasmine grandiflorum blends with the musky, powdery notes of ambrette seeds. A hint of the creamy essence of Texas cedar is gently wrapped in white musk in the base.<\/p>\n

Nicolas Beaulieu and Jean-Christophe H\u00e9rault are credited with translating this magic of the moment and colour into a masculine fragrance. Inspired by the light-dark contrast of the golden hour, the two of them composed an ambery-fruity scent with a signature woody note. Rome\u2019s newly awakened energy at dusk is expressed through the freshness of bergamot from southern Italy and the essence of Indian cardamom. Aromatic lavender from Provence meets floral, camphor notes of clary sage and geranium in the heart. Smoky, ambery tobacco accords, Bali patchouli essence and Haitian vetiver complete the composition.<\/p>\n
