Scotch whisky brand Bowmore has collaborated with Aston Martin to unveil the second release of its Masters\u2019 Selection series: a 22-year-old single malt.<\/p>\n

The second bottling in the Master\u2019s Selection range captures \u2018synchronised creativity\u2019, bringing together whiskies matured in American oak hogsheads and Sherry butts.<\/p>\n

The whiskies were distilled in 1997 and 2000 respectively.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old has notes of honey, peach and apricot, then opens up to flavours of tobacco and clove.<\/p>\n

It follows the launch of a 21-year-old whisky, the first Master\u2019s Selection release, in November 2021.<\/p>\n

Ron Welsh, master blender at Bowmore, said: \u201cWe talk about shared synergies between the contrasting worlds of Bowmore and Aston Martin and this is what truly defines the relationship Marek Reichman, chief creative officer at Aston Martin, and I have formed.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bowmore Masters\u2019 Selection Edition 2 is available in key global markets including UK, Germany, Canada, the US, and China, for RRP \u00a3390 (US$450), excluding VAT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aston Martin first partnered with Bowmore in 2019. Since then, the companies have created three travel retail-exclusive whiskies, and a \u00a350,000 (US$66,000) whisky, called Black Bowmore DB5 1964.<\/p>\n

The collaboration also saw the release of a 52-year-old single malt in a limited edition \u2018futuristic vessel\u2019 in June this year.<\/p>\n
