Johnnie Walker has announced the launch of its new Blue Label Lunar New Year Limited Edition design, which has been created by Shanghai-based designer Angel Chen.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The vibrant design, inspired by the Year of the Rabbit, features an interpretation of 2023\u2019s Zodiac animal, which is said to symbolise mercy, elegance and beauty. The design features an illustration of a prancing rabbit jumping around a mountainous landscape.<\/p>\n

As well as its Blue Label bottle, Chen has also created illustrations for the Lunar New Year John Walker & Sons XR 21 as well as John Walker & Sons King George V limited edition designs.<\/p>\n

Considered a rising star in the fashion industry, Chen studied fashion at the Central Saint Martin College of Art in London and featured in the Netflix documentary Next in Fashion. Speaking on her creation for Johnnie Walker, Chen said: \u201cThere\u2019s a defiant energy to my illustrations which bring to life the vibrant spirit of the rabbit as it leaps across the design, symbolising how we need to keep moving forward, spreading goodness throughout the year to come.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Johnnie Walker global brand director, Julie Bramham, added: \u201cThe energy and layers of colour that Angel brings to her designs are a visual interpretation of the incredible blending expertise that Emma Walker and her team use to create those perfectly balanced layers of flavour in Johnnie Walker Blue Label. <\/em><\/p>\n

All Johnnie Walker Lunar New Year limited edition designs are now available to purchase for selected markets globally.<\/p>\n
