Lagard\u00e8re has announced the opening of their new Aelia Duty Free stores at Adelaide Airport.<\/p>\n


\nThe stores were opened by Lagard\u00e8re AWPL CEO, Costa Kouros, Adelaide Airport Managing Director, Brenton Cox and The Hon Zoe Bettison, Minister for Tourism and Multicultural Affairs, at a ceremony this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Designed and built in partnership with peckvonhartel, Trivision, Studio All and Bestec, the new stores double the size of Duty-Free retail across arrivals and departures. Inside 800 square metres of Departures and 400 square metres of Arrivals, travellers will enjoy world class brands & experiences across all categories of Duty Free.<\/p>\n

The range has been curated to showcase the best of global, Australia and South Australia with more than 150 square metres specifically dedicated to local, featuring over 50 brands introduced to Duty Free for the first time.<\/p>\n

The global beauty category has been elevated, now featuring the full 3 axis premium experience of Chanel, Dior & Estee Lauder together for the first time in Adelaide, fragrance specialty with Jo Malone and Skincare luxury with Cr\u00e8me de La Mer. The range also showcases the best Australian Brands with luxury fragrance from Goldfield and Banks and South Australian Icons Jurlique, plus
\nbeauty brands Hunter Lab, Salt by Hendrix and Glasshouse.<\/p>\n

In liquor, global favourites and great local brands have equal billing, with a strong focus on craft gin. Australian Distillers continue to produce some of the world\u2019s best gin with Four Pillars, Never Never, Prohibition, Kangaroo Island Spirits and Ink Gin the stars of the range.<\/p>\n

Tastings at the Adelaide Oval Bar will help travellers narrow down their choice of leading local liquors. Featured brands include Brookies, Kangaroo Island Spirits, 78 degrees, Four Pillars and 23rd Street.<\/p>\n

Highlights in the wine section include Henschke Hill of Grace, Penfolds Grange and the extremely rare Seppeltsfield 1922 100 Year Old Para Vintage Tawny, which scored a perfect 100 points from James Halliday. It\u2019s not just the big-name wine brands to be found in store, with hidden gems like Soul Growers, Kellermeister, Bird in Hand and Petaluma also available.<\/p>\n

Reflecting customer\u2019s desire for sustainably sourced products which are better for themselves and the environment, the store also features both Low\/No Alcohol and Low Impact sections. There truly is something for everyone.<\/p>\n
