{"id":62150,"date":"2023-02-08T12:09:32","date_gmt":"2023-02-08T12:09:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/?p=62150"},"modified":"2023-02-08T12:09:32","modified_gmt":"2023-02-08T12:09:32","slug":"chivas-regal-releases-new-20-year-old-ultis-xx-scotch-whisky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/chivas-regal-releases-new-20-year-old-ultis-xx-scotch-whisky\/","title":{"rendered":"Chivas Regal releases new 20 year old Ultis XX Scotch whisky"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pernod Ricard-owned Chivas has introduced Ultis XX, a blended Scotch whisky containing five single malts aged five to 20 years.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Utilis XX has been crafted by blending a 20-year-old age statement to the original Ultis blend, alongside Chivas\u2019 signature grain Strathclyde.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The liquid is said to honour five generations of master blenders by combining five of the brand\u2019s \u2018precious\u2019 single malts: Strathclyde, Strathisla, Allt A\u2019bhainne, Braeval, Longmorn, and Tormore.<\/p>\n<p>Sandy Hyslop, Chivas master blender, said: \u201cUltis XX is the ultimate tribute to the five generations of master blenders who preceded me in dedicating their life\u2019s work to mastering Chivas\u2019 iconic house style. Each of the single malts used within this blend brings their own complexity to the whisky, just like each master blender brought their own unique style to the Chivas blend.
