{"id":63954,"date":"2023-04-19T11:13:01","date_gmt":"2023-04-19T10:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/?p=63954"},"modified":"2023-04-19T11:13:01","modified_gmt":"2023-04-19T10:13:01","slug":"watchfinder-opens-the-worlds-first-pre-owned-luxury-watch-store-in-an-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/watchfinder-opens-the-worlds-first-pre-owned-luxury-watch-store-in-an-airport\/","title":{"rendered":"Watchfinder opens the world\u2019s first pre-owned luxury watch store in an airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Watchfinder has opened what is thought to be the world\u2019s first luxury pre-owned watch point of sale in an airport\u2019s airside duty free area.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The store is within <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/timevallee-opens-first-middle-east-flagship-boutique-at-qatars-hamad-international-airport\/\">TimeVall\u00e9e in Qatar\u2019s Hamad International<\/a> in Doha, which was unveiled in January this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TimeVall\u00e9e is a multibrand luxury watch retail concept created by Richemont, which also owns Watchfinder.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThat [point of sale] is working exceptionally well,\u201d<\/em> says Arjen van de Vall, CEO of Watchfinder.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt is our first foothold in Asia and our first airport.
