Donatella Versace and Dua Lipa join together to design the Versace High Summer \u201cLa Vacanza\u201d women’s collection.<\/p>\n

A bona fide Versace muse, Dua Lipa has become a permanent fixture on its front rows, a face of its campaigns and even modelled collections on the runway (she opened and closed the spring\/summer 2022 show). And now, the singer has co-designed a womenswear collection with Donatella Versace, entitled \u201cLa Vacanza\u201d, which will debut at an intimate fashion show in Cannes on 23 May.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always been inspired by a collaborative design process,\u201d<\/em> Donatella said. \u201cWorking with Dua on this collection has been very exciting and I love the dynamic between us. Dua is strong, fearless and free and her creative vision is exceptional.\u201d<\/em> The creative director also revealed that \u201cLa Vacanza\u201d will capture the \u201cfeeling and colours\u201d of summer \u2013 a \u201cmagical time\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dua, meanwhile, described the \u201cstrong bond\u201d she has developed with Versace over the years. \u201cFor her to give me the honour of co-designing this collection and letting all my summer inspirations go wild has been a dream,\u201d<\/em> she added.<\/p>\n

Dua has worn new season, vintage and custom Versace pieces on the red carpet, the stage and for personal milestones. And in her cover shoot for British Vogue\u2019s February 2021 issue, shot by Emma Summerton, she wore nautical-inspired separates and chain-adorned platforms from the Italian house.<\/p>\n
