It is precisely at this historic London hotel that a young Guccio Gucci, while working as a porter and observing the international jet set that crossed the lobby, became inspired to create his own luggage atelier upon his return to Florence.<\/p>\n

With emblematic designs in hand, Jungjae Lee ventures throughout the storied locale, portraying how the House has expanded upon the original vision to craft ingeniously designed luggage over the past 102 years. He is captured in front of The Savoy\u2019s iconic marquee and within the hotel\u2019s flagship Royal Suite by Gucci, currently furnished with pieces from the Gucci D\u00e9cor collection. An exploration of the House\u2019s present as much as its past, the campaign spotlights how the founding narrative continues to persist within the Gucci Valigeria collection. Imagery showcases styles from the heritage-infused Gucci Savoy line\u2014a nod to the significant role of the hotel in Gucci\u2019s history\u2014as well as the new Gucci Porter selection of GG monogram and Web-embellished aluminum travel pieces created in collaboration with FPM Milano, including the Italian luxury luggage-maker\u2019s signature Bank trolley.<\/p>\n
