Dubai Duty Free is leading the way again in duty free retail by adding the iHealth range of clinically validated wireless medical devices to its shelves.

The unique new range of iHealth products includes Blood Pressure monitors that wirelessly transmit blood pressure information to the user’s iPhone or Android smartphone. Devices such as the iHealth Blood Glucose monitors connect directly to an iPhone for easy to understand reporting, with analysis based on the user’s previously recorded history, that can then be shared with a doctor over email or through the iHealth Cloud servers.

“We are thrilled to partner with Dubai Duty Free in offering this unique product line, and we look forward to creating more awareness on iHealth’s special products to airport passengers” said Mr. Siraj Hanifa, Director at Beyond Brands DMCC.

iHealth products are subject to the strictest clinical validation protocols. The blood pressure monitors are validated against the ESH (European Society of Hypertension) protocol and the glucometers are validated against the exacting ISO15197:2013 protocol. All devices also carry the CE mark.

“iHealth provides much needed solutions to simplify and maintain patient history on such ubiquitous devices as iPhones and other smartphones. We are delighted to have our products represented at Dubai Airport Terminals” said Mr. Shahzad Rana, Divisional Head at Geco representing iHealth.

Recently DDF Pharmacists and sales staff spent a day being trained by Mr Rana in the use of these devices and how to offer assistance and recommendations to travellers.

All products are now available at Dubai Duty Free in all terminals at Dubai Airport. More info also on the iHealth website
