Ian Macleod Distillers has unveiled a new full-strength flavour for its award-winning Edinburgh Gin, created exclusively for global leading travel experience player, Avolta, which will initially be available in its UK World Duty Free stores.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh Gin Key Lime & Ginger (1L \/ 40% ABV), an exotic but relatable flavour combination, is the first pairing of its kind in the gin category. Tasting like a citrus cloudburst, through lush tropical warmth, Key Lime & Ginger follows Strawberry & Pink Peppercorn, which is now widely available throughout Travel Retail following a period of exclusivity with World Duty Free. The hero serve for Key Lime & Ginger is with tonic and a squeeze of lime juice, garnished with a lime twist and plenty of ice.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh Gin Head Distiller, David Wilkinson says: \u201cWhen developing Key Lime & Ginger, we were looking for something refreshing, that could balance the sharp acidity of lime with the warm spiciness of ginger. Key Lime & Ginger achieves this by starting with a refreshing bite of zesty key lime and finishing with tingling ginger spice. A warm but refreshing G&T and the ideal gin for a Gimlet or Gin Mule cocktail.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

This new expression will go initially into key World Duty Free stores in the UK and then roll out into Avolta\u2019s stores in many other international locations. It will complement the existing range of full-strength gins: Rhubarb & Ginger, Strawberry & Peppercorn and Classic, along with the three highly popular Edinburgh Gin liqueurs, Rhubarb & Ginger, Raspberry, and Elderflower.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh Gin\u2019s new packaging will soon make its Travel Retail debut at Edinburgh Airport, before rolling out across the UK and internationally. The new packaging communicates the Filled with Wonder positioning and encapsulates the individual personality of each of its premium gins, highlighting the commitment to natural flavours. The new bespoke bottle has moved to 49% recycled glass, which will increase as glassmaking technology allows. It has recyclable aluminium capsules, fully recyclable FSC-certified paper labels, also containing recycled materials and all secondary packaging has been removed across the core range.<\/p>\n
