Rum brand Bacard\u00ed has teamed up with American singer Camila Cabello for its Do What Moves You global campaign, which features her new single \u2018I Luv It\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m beyond excited to be partnering with Bacard\u00ed,\u201d<\/em> the \u2018Se\u00f1orita\u2019 singer said. \u201cI\u2019ve always thought of Bacard\u00ed as the quintessential rum brand. To me, Bacard\u00ed is synonymous with the spirit of the Caribbean and, of course, good cocktails and a great party.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThe campaign we worked on is unlike any project I\u2019ve done before. I can\u2019t wait for fans to experience it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Cabello stars in a new 30-second spot (see below) for Bacard\u00ed\u2019s campaign, directed by Nicol\u00e1s M\u00e9ndez. In the video, the pop star is seen dancing to her new track on the streets, ending with a Bacard\u00ed cocktail in hand surrounded by other dancers.<\/p>\n The rum brand will continue to support Cabello during the release of her new album with a series of events and performances across the world, featuring a Punch cocktail named after her single.<\/p>\n Co-created by Cabello, the I Luv It Punch combines Bacard\u00ed Carta Blanca with some of her \u2018favourite\u2019 ingredients, including passion fruit, lime, coconut water and Bacardi\u2019s elderflower liqueur, St-Germain.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Bacard\u00ed team is thrilled to partner with one of the biggest stars of today for our newest campaign,\u201d<\/em> said Roberto Ramirez Laverde, global senior vice-president of Bacard\u00ed rum.<\/p>\n \u201cOur shared Caribbean heritage and love of music are the driving forces behind this multifaceted global collaboration.
