Leading travel retail distributor SKYlink has launched its new jewellery line, Marlay, at Munich Airport T2 in partnership with Eurotrade.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Further to launching Marlay, the \u2018little sister\u2019 of SKYlink\u2019s popular Haus of Dietrich brand in Cannes last year, the more youth-led brand has been steadily increasing its presence in Germany. The new Marlay location is within the watches & jewellery area at Eurotrade\u2019s main duty free shop and opened on 17 April in Munich Airport\u2019s T2 Schengen area.<\/p>\n

The new Marlay opening marks the brand\u2019s biggest travel retail launch with an assortment of 67 SKUs. The brand\u2019s inspiring and colourful jewellery pieces have quickly become a traveller favourite due to its fresh and modern look, which is also represented in the point of sale display and visual merchandising.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brand Manager Hannah Lindig and merchandising specialist Ralf Zimmermann produced the Marlay jewellery retail concept with a focus on showcasing the brand\u2019s colourful displays and easy styling options.<\/p>\n

The SKYlink team has invested in training for the Munich store sales staff, and is excited about the new brand which has already been selling well during the VM set-up and initial store trials.<\/p>\n

We are pleased to be launching the new brand that has a unique look and feel for our customers,\u201d<\/em> said Stefanie G\u00f6hl from eurotrade Flughafen M\u00fcnchen Handels-GmbH. \u201cI have been impressed by the SKYlink team\u2019s professionalism and creative spirit, working together has been incredibly fun,\u201d<\/em> she added.<\/p>\n

SKYlink recently appointed Ricarda Weber as Business Development & Strategy Director. Weber joins from her previous role as Managing Director at Gebr. Heinemann in the cruise ship subsidiary. \u201cI\u2019ve been involved in the Marlay launch since I joined the team at SKYlink and it\u2019s great to see this kind of energy in the jewellery category again. We would like to thank Stefanie G\u00f6hl from Eurotrade for this exciting partnership,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n

Marlay offers a wide selection of jewellery, including necklaces, bracelets and earrings, all colourful, lively and affordable. Marlay\u2019s targeted audience is younger travelling consumers, and has proven popular in just under a year of trading, with several airport and inflight listings.<\/p>\n

Spring\/summer 24 collections<\/strong><\/p>\n

For spring\/summer 2024, the Marlay range comprises three collections, with an average retail price of \u20ac45:<\/p>\n

Ibiza is a colourful offer featuring pearls and beads, designed to be layered. Matching necklaces and bracelets and \u2018mix-and-match\u2019 options are statement pieces.<\/p>\n

Urban offers heavier, more edgy styles with big links, chunky chains and curb chain elements. The texture and haptic of metal, as well as gold and silver colours are key.<\/p>\n

Cruise has a maritime theme, combining shells, pearls and sea stars with heart and sun details.<\/p>\n
