Hendrick\u2019s Gin and brand owner William Grant & Sons has partnered with Gebr. Heinemann and Schiphol Airport to introduce the Hendrick\u2019s Gin Perfumery to a new travel retail location: Amsterdam Schiphol.<\/p>\n

The 25m\u00b2 high-profile pop-up will be located in the airport\u2019s recently renovated Lounge 2 Central Promo Point \u2013 a prime position which is surrounded by all passenger flows. The activation is running from 1-31 May and will be supported by an impactful media campaign throughout the airport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This curious activation brings the iconic \u2018Eau de Cucumber\u2019 scented cocktail garnish to Amsterdam, following successful introductions at Frankfurt Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle. It is designed to offer adult passengers a delightfully peculiar and refreshing experience, while spotlighting the award-winning Scottish Hendrick\u2019s Gin hero ingredient: the cucumber.<\/p>\n

The Hendrick\u2019s Gin Perfumery takes the brand\u2019s obsession with the cucumber to new heights, showcasing a bespoke perfume for its gin that brings even more cucumber flavour and refreshment to a Hendrick\u2019s & Tonic.<\/p>\n

Discerning travellers will be able to nose the novel fragrance which was developed in collaboration with Global Brand Ambassador Ally Martin. They will also be encouraged to sample it as a spritz over a delicious Hendrick\u2019s Gin & Tonic, carefully mixed by brand ambassadors at the pop-up\u2019s cucumber shaped Spritz Carousel. It\u2019s a serve that\u2019s designed to deliver a delicious double dose of cucumber flavour and bring all round sensory refreshment to this revamped airport retail space.<\/p>\n

New for Amsterdam is the Botanical Table which will showcase the 11 botanicals used to create Hendrick\u2019s Gin as well as the signature infusions of cucumber and rose. Passengers will be invited to embark on a journey of aroma, exploring the botanicals in the form of essential oils displayed in perfumery-style atomisers. The intricately designed shop window, inspired by perfume department stores from the Victorian era, also includes special nods to the historic city of Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

Products highlighted at the pop-up include Hendrick\u2019s Original hero gin and Hendrick\u2019s Amazonia, the brand\u2019s most exotic release, featuring fresh vibrant notes characteristic of native jungle flora, which finely accentuate Hendrick\u2019s signature rose and cucumber combination.<\/p>\n
