Independent distiller, Loch Lomond Group has partnered with Dubai Duty Free to unveil an exclusive single cask bottling that is available in the retailer\u2019s stores at Dubai International Airport.<\/p>\n

Available from June, just 306 bottles of the unpeated single malt are available to purchase from Dubai Duty Free stores in T3 Departures.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Priced at US$100, the whisky has an ABV of 58.5% and was distilled in 2014. The single malt was initially aged in first fill ex-bourbon casks for 7 years before being transferred in 2021 to second fill oloroso hogshead barrels for a further 15 months. The honey and vanilla sweetness of the bourbon barrels complement the fruitier spirit to give exceptional balance to the whisky.<\/p>\n

On the palate, notes of toffee apple and zesty lemon are balanced with fresh vanilla oak and a hint of dark chocolate. Baked orange and marzipan then come through before a finish of spiced ground ginger.<\/p>\n
