Brockmans Gin is thrilled to announce a major step forward in its commitment to sustainability with the launch of its newly-designed, lightweight bottle \u2013 the lightest among the bestselling brands in the super premium gin segment.<\/p>\n

Due to be released in September 2024 and phased in across all products and markets, this innovative packaging uses lighter glass, can be widely recycled and marks a significant achievement in reducing its environmental footprint, while maintaining the premium quality and distinctive character the \u2018Properly Improper\u2019 gin brand is known for.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an industry where packaging plays a critical role, Brockmans Gin has taken the lead by developing the lightest bottle among the largest super premium gin brands globally. The new bottle weighs significantly less than its competitors**, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to sustainability.<\/p>\n

By choosing a lighter bottle, the brand aims to decrease CO2 emissions through the overall reduction of energy intensive material usage and logistics, aligning with its sustainability goals, without compromising on the luxurious feel and aesthetic that consumers love and that the brand is known for.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Brockmans new bottle weighs only 500 grams and will be the lightest bottle of its competitive set*<\/p>\n

\u2022 That\u2019s 30% less glass weight than its direct competitors, on average**<\/p>\n

\u2022 Its direct competitors\u2019 bottles weigh 42% more than Brockman\u2019s new bottle, on average**<\/p>\n

\u2022 The new bottle now contains 51% post-consumer recycled glass content (vs 0.6% previously)<\/p>\n

Glass manufacturing is among the most energy-intensive global industries and it\u2019s anticipated that reducing the weight of glass bottles in the spirits industry will save significant CO2 emissions in both manufacture and transport.<\/p>\n

Brockmans is confident that its new bottle will set a benchmark in the industry, reflecting its commitment to reducing its environmental impact and follows the brand\u2019s B Corp certification, in late 2023.<\/p>\n
